Lord, I Would Follow Thee

Noah Dayne Groendyke made the choice to follow in the Lord's footsteps as he enter into the waters of Baptism. What a happy occasion for the Groendyke/Hart Family.  Rick performed the baptism and confirmation. Grandpa Hart presented Noah with a nice blanket after his talk on the Holy Ghost. Bishop Jensen presided over the event and the Primary Presidency was there to support us.  Aunt Shawna also came and played the piano for the music. I was most proud of Noah and his father, both. I love them so much.

Following the baptism, confirmation, and congratulations, the quests enjoyed a wonderful buffet at Chuck-a-rama. The guests included:
Grandma Garff
Grandma and Grandpa Hart
Craig and Sara Fillerup
Jordan Hart with his girlfriend Liz
Mallory Hart and her two roommates

This is my Baptism Certificate.  Interesting to note, Noah and I were confirmed on the exact same day...39 years apart.

Congratulations Son

It's Gr8 to Be 8!

My, could it really be that Noah is turning eight years old? Yep it is true and he had a birthday party to prove it. Of all the places of celebration...Planet Play was his top choice...all you can eat buffet...laser tag...miniature golf...games...tokens...more games and food and of course birthday cake.

What began as a few friends turned into many including Grandma and Grandpa Hart and a few of the guest's parents...it was just that much fun. What was supposed to last two hours ended up being four.  The youngin's didn't want to leave and the oldin's hated to pull them away.

Cake. Gifts. Candles. Balloons.

The perect way to CELEBR8 being 8 !

Got Noah?

There used to be an advertisement for MILK. Every famous person imaginable had their moment in the spotlight with a BIG MILK MOUSTACHE across their lips and the caption written in
huge letters "got milk?" The American Dairy Association was trying to encourage calcium intake through stardom.  Well...I have my own little star...I've "got Noah"
